No copywrite infringement or defamation is intended.Name of characterr: Draco Malfoy Age: 21 Birthday: June 5, 1980 PB: Tom Felton Wand: Hawthorn, unicorn hair, 10 inches, reasonably springy House at Hogwarts: Slytherin Height: 5'10" Weight: 12.1 stone (170lbs) Distinguishing marks: Distinct widow's peak and pale pointed face Give us a description of your character's appearance: Draco inherited aristocratic features and angles from both sides of his family. His hair is pale white-blond with cheekbone length fringe. His eyes are grey and cold, the Black family eyes, but the hardness that graces his is entirely his own. While not thin, he's not overly muscular. However, he is in very good shape, working out on a regular basis. Parents: mother - Narcissa Black, father - Lucius Malfoy (deceased) Siblings: none Family interactions (how does your character get along with his/her family members?): When his father committed suicide, Draco became Lord of Malfoy Manor. He views his mother as fragile and two steps from mental invalid now. He runs his life, interacting with her at the house, but he never takes her outside. He keeps his own life far from the manor, preferring a small flat in London for any interactions that do not require the manor environs. Occupation: While Draco has no need of employment, he has taken some lessons of his late mentor and is taking full advantage of this new world, and has begun a freelance curse-breaking business. His public answer to the question as to why he's doing this is that he's bored and needs something that doesn't involve the Ministry. The real reason is that the public answer is only partly true. He's also doing it to replenish the Malfoy vault after the reparations pilfered it. Residence: Malfoy Manor, Wiltshire, England Financial status: wealthy, though somewhere over a third of the Malfoy fortune has been confiscated it still leaves him terribly wealthy, though not quite as obscenely as before. Political views: Draco's pureblood supremacist views have been considerably tempered by the war. While he still believes in the value of blood and tradition, he does not believe in violence to achieve any of those means. He also sees some of lesser blood as being better than their blood would indicate because of their own views towards Muggles and muggle society. His political standing is officially Separatist however. Blood Status: pureblood Sexuality: Very much straight. Gay has never been an option, not that he's ever wanted it. He just simply doesn't think about it. Give us a description of your character's personality Draco has always been introverted, opening just enough to let people think he trusts them. While most Slytherins always saw through that to a degree, he still played the game better than most. Learning Occlumency was an obvious choice for one who could easily get lost in his own thoughts. Not that he has ever been mistaken for philosophic. It is more that he refuses to let anyone inside. The number of people he's ever trusted has never been higher than three. Of those, two are dead. Throughout his childhood, Draco knew that whining and turning to his father would elicit results. He knew that complaining to Sever--Professor Snape would get detentions for Gryffindors. Over the past four years, he's slowly grown a backbone, slowly began standing on his own. Of course, having lost both men does tend to cause one to not have anyone to run to to whine. Draco's no murderer, and he doesn't believe in muggle-killing or torture. While he did take the Mark ,under duress, he has never regretted his 'failure' of killing Dumbledore except in that he views that as the beginning of Severus' end. He still believes purebloods are superior, mostly because they believe in traditional values. He hates the idea of integrating both worlds, but he has learned to keep it hidden well. Still, not being able to trust anyone has made him even more cynical and more of a loner than he was in school. Since Crabbe's death, he's pulled away from nearly everyone. Since his father's suicide, he's pulled away from his mother as well. Draco, of course, hasn't quite figured out that part of his loneliness is that he doesn't let anyone in. But even if he figured that out, he'd say it wouldn't matter, that he doesn't belong in the world his father worked for, but he also doesn't belong in this world. He's still too rigidly traditional to feel comfortable in Muggle clothing or in Muggle establishments, but he sometimes writes to Severus in his journal, trying to think about how his mentor had lived in two worlds and hoping to learn some of the flexibility of the older man post-humously. In many ways, he's never mourned either man, trying instead to lock himself away emotionally. He's beginning to succeed. He hasn't forgiven the ministry for his father's death, despite his resentment towards his father's actions, he wondered why the pardon given to both he and his mother couldn't be extended to his father. He never accepted their answers and wasn't entirely sure if he wanted to hold it against Potter or not. Still, he owes Potter his life, twice. His own obvious turn-coating during the war was his only saving grace. | |||||||||
