No, I don't believe Integration is the best answer to our future. But if that surprises anyone, well, then you have been blinded by your own optimism. However, I do not propose a return to the chaos of war. Violence only breeds more of the same, something with which I am intimately familiar.

I have no idea who killed those Separatists, but I was not among the victims or the attackers. So you may all rest easy now.

So, am I misunderstanding things or are spells no longer allowed for the purpose of self defense in the presence of Muggles? Somehow, isn't it hypocritical to deny us what makes us different while touting that we should eliminate the Statute of Secrecy?

So, we can bring them into our world. We can mingle with them. We can even heal them, but we can't perform spells on them in self defense? Doesn't that mean Integration is simply going to make us servants to Muggles?

Can someone please explain to me where my logic went wrong?

Nothing like the Daily Prophet to bring uplifting news. Really. Though I'm not surprised, not really, simply disappointed. It would seem there is no moving on, moving forward. Why are people so insistent to repeat the mistakes of the past?

I've no desire to return to what happened, but it seems some are. Simply grand.
